Active Listening Techniques During the Job Interview

Speaker: Lisa Dennis, M'92, President, Knowledgence Associates, Cambridge, MA

Lisa will be presenting on a topic that is critical for effective communication but especially for the job interview -- High End Listening. Job descriptions and other advance materials provide 33% of the relevant information you need to convince an interviewer you are the right hire. The rest must be interpreted, extrapolated, and perceived. Each hiring manager has a problem they wish to solve and the sooner in the interview you determine their source of pain, the more you can focus on how you can address it.
